Artist Statement
My photography consists of images captured in both the visible light and infrared spectrum offering the viewer the chance to look at the world in a different light.
I find an inherent beauty in structural entropy and strive to capture images that reach beyond the confines of mere documentation. As an artist, I view my surroundings as the raw material of a multi-layered story about the structure’s inhabitants, its past and present, all that it was, and all that it has become.
For more than 25 years I have explored the decaying structures of our past — recording them as nature takes back the best efforts of mankind to show supremacy over the natural world.
